Carl Dahlstedt’s history is transcribed from the February 1929 Whos Who edition of the Ashland Daily Press. Carl was the Port Wing postmaster. His history of the town goes into detail about the settlement of Port Wing, logging, lumber, farming, quarrying, the Orienta Elector-hydrolic dam, Port Wing Businesses, schools and churches. He offers a rich listing of the people involved in each realm.
